I'm just curious, so this is an informal poll.   What is your favorite type of lace to make, and why?

Depends on my mood, amount of time available, and available brain power.  If I'm somewhere away from my kids and will have an extended time to lace, binch and floral bucks.  Around the house when I can grab a little time here or there, right now it's a small torchon hankie edging.  It's a simple enough piece that all I need is the brain power I have remaining at the end of the day.  Or at least I think that's all I need.  I'll see the truth as it emerges from the pins.

I also enjoy modern Milanese.  I love the Louise Colgan's patterns and some of the modern ones in the Read and Kinkade books.  I've started the Madonna and child one and am looking forward to getting back to it sometime soon.

I like torchon. It's clean and balanced. I also like milanese. I am working on the hedgehog right now. He's pretty cool.
