REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Lodging for“Fan-Tab-U-Lace” Spring Fling 2011, will be a private room for each attendee for Friday and Saturday nights, and five cafeteria meals (Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner; Sunday breakfast). Rooms are very small. Although each has two twin beds and a sink, each will be considered a single room. Showers and toilets are placed conveniently on each floor. All meals will be in the second floor cafeteria.

There is one central entrance way and a comfortable and spacious lobby with overstuffed chairs and sofas. A large room directly off the lobby will be used for the store and will be open to all, not just attendees. There is good parking, and luggage carts are available to load and unload our stuff. The center is handicap accessible with ramps and elevators.

The weekend package with two overnights, five meals, all for one low price is $134.00 per person. For the rate of $134.00, each attendee will have two nights lodging, Friday and Saturday, plus five meals.  We regret we are unable to plan any outside activities. Attendees’ spouses planning to attend should speak with Chris Hope about possible larger double rooms.

Registration fee is $30.00 for each attendee whether you take a class or not.

Class fee is $120.00 for 12 hours of instruction.  If we cannot place you in any of your class choices and you do not wish to attend, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations received prior to February 14, 2011 will be refunded (less a $10.00 processing fee) only if a replacement is found.  After that date there is no refund, as we must have a confirmed number of sleeping rooms by February 14, 2011.

 Registration begins with receipt of the newsletter.  Registration forms will be processed in order of postmark.  No registrations will be considered complete without full payment.  A check, traveler's check or money order (in US FUNDS ONLY), payable to the GREAT LAKES LACE GROUP INC. and your completed class registration form should be sent to Chris Hope, 229 McMillan Road, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236-3509. Sorry, we cannot accept credit cards.

Notification of class assignment and equipment list will be mailed no later than April 1, 2011.

  • Everyone is welcome to shop at the Store.

  • Note:  The laces illustrated are examples of the type of lace indicated and
  • do not necessarily represent patterns that will be taught in the class. 
  • Samples may be reduced in size to fit the space.
  • All meals will be in the cafeteria on the second floor – service buffet style.    
  • Please arrive promptly at the designated time for meals.
